China hearts Titanic 3D – minus Kate Winslet’s mammaries
China may have said ‘Thanks but no thanks’ to Kate Winslet’s lady lumps, but that didn’t stop Titanic 3D from claiming the title for the country’s best opening weekend gross of all time. Booyah!
The film took in – wait for it – a stonking $58 million in just one weekend. The 3D version has pocketed $190.9 million worldwide so far, pushing Titanic’s total lifetime gross to over $2 billion.
That James Cameron, eh? Jammy bugger.
