New images a-go-go for Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie
Dark Shadows isn’t the only Tim Burton flick scheduled for release this year, don’t you know.
3D stop-motion black and white film, Frankenweenie, is due to hit the big screens in October.
A remaking of Burton’s 1984 short film by the same name, you’ll hear many a familiar voice including Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Conchata Ferrell, and James Hiroyuki Liao
Here’s the synopsis:
A heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
