This week on Film Club…Channing Tatum takes his top off (repeatedly)

And he’s not the only one…Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey do too. What is this miraculous movie feast of man-flesh, we hear you cry? It’s stripper flick Magic Mike, taking on a strong field for this week’s Film Club title.

In the blue corner we have animated leviathan Ice Age 4: Continental Drift. Can the family-favourite franchise take the win, or will it slip on all that baby oil…

Third up we have apocalypse rom-com (apparently they exist now) Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, starring Keira Knightley and Steve Carell. But is their odd pairing enough to make you check it out?

Oh yeah, and Chariots of Fire is being rereleased this week, so if you were too teeny to see it first time round, why not give it the nod?

Over to you lot…

But just what is this Film Club malarkey all about? It’s simples, really. Each week we send a pair of cinema tix (ODEON or Cineworld, whichever is best) to 10 of our most active Facebook/Twitter followers. We put the film we’re going to see to the vote, and the winning film is the one we all go to see. Then we all sit around on Facebook on the Sunday night (6.30) and chat about it. Magic.
