Doesn’t it seem like Dark Shadows‘ release date has come round really quickly? Maybe that’s just us…anywhos, it’s up for this week’s Film Club crown! If seeing Johnny Depp wearing even more makeup than usual (and a pair of snazzy vamp teeth) is your idea of a great time, it probably deserves your vote.

Up against it we have horror sequel Piranha 3DD, which we imagine does pretty much what it says in the title. Can’t imagine anything better than scantily-clad women running away from killer fish? Check the box!

Then there’s How I Spent My Summer Vacation. Mel Gibson is in it!

But just what is this Film Club malarkey all about? It’s simples, really. Each week we send a pair of cinema tix (ODEON or Cineworld, whichever is best) to 10 of our most active Facebook/Twitter followers. We put the film we’re going to see to the vote, and the winning film is the one we all go to see. Then we all sit around on Facebook on the Sunday night (6.30) and chat about it. Magic.
