This week on Film Club…it’s time to be Brave
When we first realised just how good this week’s Film Club lineup is we did a little squeal of excitement. And we reckon you guys might too.
First up is hot new Pixar animation Brave, finally hitting the UK after being released in the US (and Scotland) what feels like eons ago. Does it get your vote?
Up against it we have a pair of action blockbusters in the shape of franchise revamp The Bourne Legacy and ageing actioner sequel The Expendables 2. We recommend coin-flipping if you’re having a tricky time deciding.
Then there’s Brit comedy The Wedding Video, definitely the underdog of the bunch but hey. If the Olympics taught us anything it’s that stranger things could happen…
Get voting, folks!
But just what is this Film Club malarkey all about? It’s simples, really. Each week we send a pair of cinema tix (ODEON or Cineworld, whichever is best) to 10 of our most active Facebook/Twitter followers. We put the film we’re going to see to the vote, and the winning film is the one we all go to see. Then we all sit around on Facebook on the Sunday night (6.30) and chat about it. Magic.
