Lastnight also saw the handing out of the Independent Spirit Awards – the Oscars of the indie filmmaking world. The big winners? ‘Black Swan’ and ‘Winters Bone’, plus a Best Actor nod for James Franco (in the absence of Colin Firth)
This is also the only awards ceremony this season which will see ‘The King’s Speech’ take home Best Foreign Film…
