Harry Potter premiere – The Round-Up
The Potter gang were out in force last night for the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 – and didn’t they all look pretty?
Most spectacularly dressed of the night has to go to Emma Watson, who wore an Oscar de La Renta ballgown for the main show and a sparkly Elie Saab cocktail dress for the afterparty.
JK Rowling also wore full-length Oscar de la Renta – and somehow managed to pull off a distinctly meadow-like print.
Bonnie Wright wore Miu Miu (again) but wowsers those earrings are fantastic! Also looking lush was Clemence Poesy in Nina Ricci – even if she didn’t seem to crack a smile all night.
Kudos to Natalia Tena for an enjoyably nuts ensemble. We have to ask, though – is Tom Felton’s girlfriend dropping hints?
And the guys? DanRad wore a three-piece Simon Spurr suit and Rupert Grint a black scaly number.
The BIG MOMENT of the night was when JK and all her main actors took to the stage for a round of speeches. Complete with blubbing, even by the famously reserved Rupert. Who told both Dan and Emma that he loved them (awww!) There were also hugs and thankyous aplenty. You can see those speeches – beware, you may need a Kleenex – below:
