Shocker: The Inbetweeners Movie is getting a sequel

Well, colour us surprised (not). After racking up £45mil in box-office receipts against a £3.5mil budget, Inbetweeners creator Damon Beesley has confirmed that last year’s movie is getting a sequel. That’s despite insisting ad nauseum that it was a one-time thing.

He talked to the Sun recently, saying:

“I don’t want to give too much away at this stage but yes, we have been developing an idea for a sequel.
We miss working with Simon, Joe, James and even Blake too much not to give it a go.”

So that’s a sequel with all four main cast, then. Probs a much bigger budget too. Let’s hope they come up with a decent plot!
