The Friday Round-up
Christopher Nolan steps on work on a supernatural thriller, but he won’t be directing… mind you if he’s involved we’re already intrigued.
Francis Ford Coppola heads to Comic Con at the end of July for the first time in 20 years. He’ll be debuting footage from his flick Twixt starring Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, Elle Fanning, and Ben Chaplin. (Plus avant-electronicist Dan Deacon will be sorting out the soundtrack. If you haven’t seen Dan Deacon and Liam Lynch’s Drinking Out of Cups, do so now).
Leighton Meester in Elie Saab. Too cute.
In case you miss Shia LaBeouf spilling it all in Details magazine – and that includes being rather indiscreet about disastrous dates and hooking up with Megan Fox you can read all about it here.
And speaking of Shia. Apparently he’s going to be working on a Marilyn Manson doc.
Mandy Moore sings backing vocals for her hubby Ryan Adams. Listen here.
Anna Kendrick joins Cameron Diaz, J-Lo and Brooklyn Decker for the film What to Expect When You’re Expecting. All the deets here.
Who’s the Worse Teacher? Larry Crowne’s Julia Roberts vs. Bad Teacher’s Cameron Diaz.
Apparently Jonathan Rhys Meyers suffered a relapse and did not attempt suicide. Either way we hope he gets better.
Check out some amazing behind the scenes shots from the classic Sutherland-Christie film Don’t Look Now.
If you haven’t seen this film check out the trailer below. Definitely one of the most unsettling films we’ve ever seen.
