First teaser for Zero Dark Thirty

Ever since she won her Oscar for The Hurt Locker, we’ve been on the edge of our seats waiting to see what Kathryn Bigelow would do next. Now we know, with the first teaser trailer for follow-up Zero Dark Thirty arriving online.

The film tells the story of the hunt for Osama Bin Laden but won’t, according to writer Mark Boal, feature any sort of political agenda or even an appearance by an actor playing the President. Intriguing.

It doesn’t tell us much, other than we can expect this to be a movie that’s heavy on the shouting, but we’re still pretty excited. What do you guys think?

Zero Dark Thirty stars Kyle Chandler, Joel Edgerton, Chris Pratt, Mark Strong, Jessica Chastain and Mark Duplass and is released in the US on 19 December. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
