Gorgeous Comic-Con poster for The Hobbit

This week we heard that the two-part Hobbit movie had finally wrapped principal photography, after 266 days (and, before that, a LOT of pre-production problems). Now Peter Jackson is turning his attention towards his movie’s big debut, which will be at Comic-Con on July 14, and has given us a poster to promote it. And isn’t it gorgeous!

The poster features Gandalf walking along a path in Hobbiton and looking like a wizard on a mission. Which he presumably is.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey stars Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch and essentially the entire cast of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. (Apart from Viggo Mortensen, sob!) It hits cinemas in December.
