New stills from Only God Forgives show the G-man looking battered, bruised and distinctly unhappy. Well dressed, though.

The flick sees Gosling reteam with Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn, playing an exiled cop-killer living in Thailand and running a boxing club (that just happens to be a secret drug-running operation). Things go bad when his brother is arrested for murdering a prostitute and mummy dearest gets a taste for revenge…

Will it be more violent than Drive? Perhaps, but we reckon there’s no way it’ll be anything less than mega. Wouldn’t you agree?

Only God Forgives will be released some time in 2013.
