Is there an upcoming action movie Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t star in?

IGN has published the first poster for Arnie’s The Last Stand. In the film the former Governator stars as ex-LAPD narcotics officer Ray Owens, whose last job saw several cops dead following a botched operation.

His subsequent sleepy life as sheriff of border town Summerton Junction goes oopsy-daisies when drug dealer Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega) breaks free from an FBI prisoner transport and hightails it to the Mexican border.

The always excellent Forest Whitaker also stars as Agent John Bannister, while Arnie’s Owens has to make do with ho-hum cops played by Luis Guzman and Johnny Knoxville.

The Last Stand arrives in UK cinemas January 25.
